Nicola Sganga wins the 2nd David Di Donatello

Nicola started as an architect and after working on important urbanistic projects for several years he decided to dedicate himself to cinematography and visual effects. Now, he counts on over seventeen years of experience in the film and TV industry. With a filmography of more than sixty films and commercials, he won three David of Donatello for Best Visual Effects. For five years he has been teaching at Valle Giulia Architecture Department of La Sapienza University of Rome, and for three years at the National Architecture Institute, also he attended a Master at Farm. Keeping a connection between working and teaching has always been one of his main focuses.

In these years he has had the opportunity to work as a supervisor for different projects traveling around the globe, from China to Turkey, to United States of America and all over Europe. From 2009 he collaborates with FILAS spa, producing and shooting different commercials for the “Distretto Beni e Attività Culturali”.

In 2015 he founded Nema FX a company of a multidisciplinary team of architects, digital artists, interior designers and Computer engineers.
